  • Restoring Batteries

Is it possible to restore batteries by draining the acid, replacing with new acid and charging each battery individually?

I guess a lot of things are possible but IMO this is not a good solution.
The lead that has been eliminated from the plates during it's lifecycle will not be recoverable. You may get a very short term gain but I would start saving for a new set.

From everything I have seen in the past 30 years, No!
You do all the labor not to mention EPA concerns and for a exta week are 2.
This is a sales pitch nothing more it may get a few more weeks out of them but I wouldn't leave my yard with a set of them.

      You asked!

Referbing lead acid rechargeable batteries don't last very long either, I asked my local car battery refurbisher, who deals with automotive batteries, which when refurbished only last about year anyways.
