1999 ezgo workhorse shift linkage

I have a 1999 Ezgo Workhorse 800 that on Sunday decided it would only go in reverse. I noticed somskbs had welding onto the bracket. So I removed the nut holding the shifter arm on and this came off. This is broken correct? Do I have to buy the whole assembly?
