    Probably the splines in the rear hub pop thr caps off the hubs and have someone step on the go pedal while you see if the hub nuts spin. It may be the pinion and ring gears.. if it is that it's a good time to get high speed gears

    We had some friends over for a cook out one evening a few weeks ago and their son......with out going into too much boring details, he managed to break my late 90's electric EZGO TXT. From what my daughter said, he was driving it in reverse.....and/or forward and slamming the gear in the opposite direction. Which obviously caused something to break because now when I put it in gear, it just spins and clicks with no go!!! Not sure what the problem is but it sure doesnt sound good. I plan on taking a look this weekend but before I do, I wanted to get some thoughts, stuff to look out for and maybe some "gotchas" from everyone before I actually role up my sleeves.
