    Wanted a starter/generator for a 92 club car?

    to GCF berr!
Can you rebuild the starter/generator yourself?
Usually they only require brushes and a little cleanup.
Brush sets are around $25 and new starter/gens are around $250.

can't rebuild. I purchased a car with the starter missing. Will need one with pulley. It appears I will be buying new. Is it better to purchase OEM or after market on a 92 club car.

IMO, aftermarket is fine for starter/generator.
Do you have a CC dealer in your area? He may have a used or rebuilt one you can get for a good price.

I have a 92 Club car. How do I know if it is 2 or 4 cycles?

            It's a 4 stroke motor.

Perhaps this is the wrong place for this. I am not up on using this forum. I need a gas tank for a 92 and up club car.
