1998 Ezgo Electric Cart Slow in Foward

I have a 1998 Ezgo Electric Cart that runs very slow in fwd and will run very fast in reverse. Also the backup alarm comes on in the when driving foward. Any ideas????

cart worked great just started running slow forward...
but in reverse runs great like old times I need to check what??

Is the F/R switch on the dash or by your knee?

Yeasterday inspected F/R switch found when switching F R it bent one of the small wheel
on the sides, not making good contack removed F/R from under the seat straighten, cleaned switch bent small wheel back put back together all better
just like it was, I knew it had to be something small or smiple went fast in reverse but not in forward, remembering when I was switching it got a little stiff, that is when something bent....... hope it helps George
