          I like the write up, it would deffinitely dial in the toe to a much more precise degree than what I normally end up doing.

          If you are just looking for a quick fix, say after you install a lift kit; a straight ruler and two people is all you need. Just find the casting mark on the tires, or pick a point on both front tires, normally in the middle, and measure the distance between the tires, using the same points front and back. After that its a simple adjustment of the tie-rod ends until you are left with roughly 1/8" toe in, and there you go.

          Again, this is only a quick fix, and the OP has a much more specific and I find better way, yet it does definitely take more time.

            That's the way I have been doing rudimentary alignments as well.
