Need batteries

I have a 2006 ACG California Roadster.
It is a 48 volt (6 x 8volt).
The batteries are the originals and it is time to replace them I think.
They appear to drain quickly and use a lot of water after each charge.
The batteries are Trojan 975, I think the numbers are.

My question is, what is a good battery to replace them with.
Cost is not a factor, I want a good quality battery that will last a few years.

Some people I have talked to say Trojan has lowered the quality of their batteries.
The reviews I have read about Interstate are not very good.

What battery would you recommend?

go with trogen ranger batteries, other than discover batteries, there gell batt but 2,000 a set . get 30 miles outta a charge
