Is this a 2 stroke?

Just purchased a 95 ezgo gxt-804d. The engine tag is missing some pieces, but it looks to be a robin pg2 244cc. If this is correct then it can only be a 2stroke correct? I don't see where this engine would have came factory on this cart. Thanks, nick

I can faintly see "2PG" in the second picture. Congrats, you have a 2 stroke engine my friend.

That looks like the same engine that is in my 86. It is a 2 stroke. The direction of the cart is determined by the direction the motor is turning. the starter turns the motor over one way in forward and the other way in revers.
