1986 ezgo gas 2 stroke will not start

changed fuel pump,carb,unhooked exhaust getting fire and gas plug is wet. sprayed carb cleaner around crank seal. rpm did not change nor did it try to start. held string over carb opening and it would suck the string inside carb. sprayed carb cleaner in carb and
STILL WILL NOT START
