  • EZGO TXT no drive

Wife just went to play in ladies league this morning and called me from cart path.
EZGO TXT electric makes rubbing/grinding sound but no movement. Have heard that it may be rear brake drum spline.
Anyone know how to check for this and how to replace if needed?
    Thanks!

Jack one rear wheel off the ground at a time, block the front wheels. Turn on the cart and depress the go pedal, the wheel off the ground should spin. Now hold the brakes and try again. This should tell you which hub may be slipping. Another way is to take off any wheel covers. With the brakes on depress the go pedal and see if the nut at the center of the rear wheel spins. If one spins remove wheel, nut and hub see if its the hub or axle. If nothing spins at the wheels then there is other problems either in the differential or motor spline.
