Wiring speed sensor to new motor

I am replace motor in 2003 ezgo pds cart. Bought new admiral mot-b2 but it has built in speed sensor in motor housing, old motor had sensor magnet. Cut magnet off to hardwire but existing wires are red, black and white where my new motor they are red, black and green. I assume it goes red to red, black to black, but what about the white to green?? Does anyone know about this??

what you said sounds reasonable, but you need to contact the place you purchased the motor and find out what kind of sensor there using. Also put your volt meter on the carts red and black wires and see what voltage you read.
